Sort Café is built to need as little of your data as possible. This is the plain-language account of what the app touches and why.

There is no account

Sort Café has no sign-up, login, or user profile. Nothing in the app ties your play to your identity.

What stays on your device

Your progress — level reached, coins, unlocked café decor, sound preference and daily-reward streak — is stored only on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults). It is never sent to us; we run no server that could receive it and we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Advertising

Sort Café shows ads through Google AdMob to keep the game free. To do this, AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your advertising ID) and usage data for ad delivery, measurement and, where you allow it, personalization.

Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), a consent message is shown on first launch before any ads are requested. On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency prompt asks for your permission before any identifier is used for cross-app tracking. Choosing “Ask App Not to Track” limits ads to non-personalized delivery; the game works identically either way. Google's own policy governs how AdMob handles this data: policies.google.com/privacy.

Purchases

In-app purchases (removing ads, extra puzzle moves) are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your card details or Apple ID; Apple handles billing, receipts and refunds.

What we don't do

We don't run our own analytics or crash-reporting servers.
We don't sell data to anyone.
We don't ask for your name, email, photos, contacts or location.
We don't knowingly collect data from children beyond the standard ad delivery Apple and Google require for a general-audience app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update is posted here with a new effective date.

Restoring a purchase

Reinstalled the app or switched devices? Open the Café Shop and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. This re-applies purchases like Remove Ads tied to your Apple ID at no extra charge.

A puzzle won't budge

Every level is generated to be solvable. If you run out of moves, the game offers a hint (via a short rewarded ad) or extra moves, or you can restart the level for free.

Ads or purchases acting up

Most hiccups clear up after checking your connection and reopening the app. If a purchase was charged but didn't unlock, email the approximate time and your device model.
